The Premium CBD Database and Why I'm Involved

If you’ve followed any of my work leading up to now, you’re probably well aware that I have spent the last several years as a freelance cannabis writer in Seattle. You may have also noticed that in November of 2020, I became more vocal about my work with the Premium CBD database.

What is Premium CBD?

As a brand, Premium CBD empowers cannabidiol users to seek products that are truly pure and potent. You’ve heard it before. CBD is not regulated. And a lot of the products available on the market reflect this.

But that doesn’t mean there aren’t a plethora of truly premium products out there that deserve highlighting. And that’s where Premium CBD comes in.

The database was founded by Paige Clark, who reached out to me about a year ago after seeing that I am a freelance CBD writer. She struggled to not only find products that were pure and potent, but also to find pure and potent products with the paperwork to back it up.

She quickly learned that there is a lot more to a premium CBD company than just saying the product is quality. You have to look at each ingredient, track down the batch number, track down the certificate of analysis, and verify that everything matches up. But if if the COA isn’t coming from an ISO-accredited laboratory, then there is really no guarantee about accuracy.

Nobody wants heavy metals, pesticides, solvents, or microbial contaminants in their CBD products. But not all companies test for this.

Premium CBD is a wonderful resource to shop for pure products. Everything listed on the website has been vetted by our company, first by thoroughly checking that the product has been through a full battery of testing, and followed by verification of the lab where the testing took place.
